penna is a newsletter platform built for developers. write in markdown, manage subscribers, and send email from an api you'll actually enjoy using — no bloated dashboards, no fighting the tool to do simple things.

we built it because most newsletter tools are designed for marketers, not engineers. penna strips that away and gets out of your way: clean writing, a real api, and infrastructure that scales without the busywork.

it's completely open-source, so you can self-host it, read the code, or contribute if something's missing.
